THANATOS — a season dedicated to aggression as one of the most powerful human energies. The name comes from Freud’s later works, when he recognized the existence not only of the life instinct (Eros) but also of the instinct of self-destruction — Thanatos. He gathered the ideas of many scholars of his time to define this fundamental drive.

Our motivation is simple yet sharp: the problem of aggression now exists on a natural level. We are being targeted for destruction — our instincts try to protect us, but the full-scale war is too terrifying, and the psyche cannot cope. We are searching for ways to transform this force so that it does not destroy us from within.
